Alpine garden of Golte is the highest and the easiest to reach in the wilderness of nature alpine garden in Europe. 2 hectares of land between the hotel and mountain hut near the upper station of the cable car was transformed into a unique park of alpine flowers. The natural surrounding gives you the ideal opportunity to walk along the paths among hundreds of clearly marked autochthonous plants of the Kamniško-Savinjske Alpe. Safety railings were set in place for your safety and we prepared a real forest horoscope for your entertainment. Our Alpine garden already welcomes the first magnificent yellow buds of the protected Auricula or bear’s ear peeping out of the rock cracks reminding us of the flower of the primrose, which is not surprising since they both belong among primulas.
