WITH THE CHAIRLIFT TO THE LAKE

Trije ploti is a popular stop for visitors to Golte, as it opens up beautiful views of the entire Smrekovec mountain chain, the mountains Travnik, Raduha and the hills above Mozirje. From here, you can walk one of the Golte trails or simply admire the surrounding natural beauty.

You can also walk around the reservoir lake, which was built for the technical requirements of snowmaking for the nearby ski area. Since there are no natural springs on the mountain, the water is collected at an altitude between 800 and 900 metres above sea level, and it is pumped into the lake via four pumping stations. The water from the lake is used up in a few days for the snow production, and after this, the lake needs about 2–3 months to fill up again.

Trije ploti is the meeting point of three municipalities: Mozirje, Rečica ob Savinji and Ljubno ob Savinji. So you can visit all three municipalities in no time, you will just have to decide, which one is the most beautiful.
