Recreation-tourist centre Golte over Mozirje, which offers a beautiful view over the Savinjska dolina, Savinjske Alpe, and the eastern Karavanke, is accessible by car by the local road to the bottom station of the cable car in the hamlet of Žekovec. The cable car, which can board 56 people in one ride, arrives at Medvedjak in eight minutes – there you find a hotel with a restaurant at an altitude of 1,410 m. There are several chairlifts and skilifts running from the hotel over the well prepared ski slopes (some also with artificial snow), where there are many skiing pleasures for beginners, recreational skiers, and lovers of ski touring. The ski covered slopes of Golte are also the place where ski competitions are organized.

Hotel Golte provides a restaurant offering refreshments and bar, you can get refreshments also in the cottages along the ski runs – Trije ploti and Stari Stani.
