Hunting day happening this year in the last week of August is an excellent opportunity for the laics to get acquainted with the animal world of Golte. Members of many hunters’ associations will present the importance of mountain nature preservation and the positive mission of hunting. The visitors will get to know the animal species living on Golte and, in the more entertaining part of the programme, hear some of the fat ‘hunting’ lies. Families with children will be able to participate at the accompanying hunting workshop, where children will learn how to make various wild animals from natural materials. The older children will be able to try themselves at archery and shooting with air rifle.
