 | | Mountain tourist centre Golte will once again participate in Slovenia ski tour in 2010. This is a guided travel on cross-country skis through forests and mountains of Slovenian mountain ranges of medium height from 1,000 to 1,400 m altitude. The purpose of this event is the popularization of cross-country skiing and the discovery of less known parts of Slovenia. |
In the beginning of April 2009, Iztok Kordiš, the head organizer of this international journey on cross-country skis, met with our CEO Ernest Kovač to discuss the details about the preparation of this event, which will in its more than 60 km long course encompass also the area of Golte. Kordiš stated during the visit that in Finland their Rajalta Rajalle Hiihto is already a well established event and it is becoming increasingly popular here in Slovenia. Thus we can expect a strong international participation of cross-country skiers also at Golte in February next year.
