It operates as a unit of the Central library Mozirje and is located in the Hotel Golte at an altitude of 1,410m. It welcomes the local inhabitants, guests, tourists, and other visitors of the Mountain tourist centre Golte. It was formed through cooperation of the Central library Mozirje, Velenje library, and the company Golte d.o.o. The Mountain library Golte offers over 1,000 units of library material. The majority are belletristic books available also in Croatian, English, German, or Italian language. Our visitors can also access some technical materials, mostly tourist guides, magazines and video cassettes; you can also access the internet and watch DVDs. The collection will grow in the future with the special emphasis on local studies of the Zgornje Savinjska and Šaleška dolina.
